The Merc and Celica would be — that’s what the pickup has.

Why not get classic car insurance on the Benz? It'll save you tons.

I mean, it’s already quoted at 37 bucks. How much cheaper could it be?

If I can offer some advice, I would say get full coverage if at all possible. I can’t tell you how many claims I have had where an insured has liability only and their car is a total and I have to say “I’m sorry, but there’s nothing we can do because you only have liability coverage.” If you can’t afford it, that is understandable, but just know if you have a wreck and the car is towed, especially to a tow yard, the tow cost and the storage fees are on you plus you have a busted car that you are stuck with.

Thanks, that is something to think about. I used to not be able to afford coverage at all, then I bumped up to high liability, and after we got my wife a nice car we had hers be comprehensive. Just annoying to spend more on a vehicle (the pickup) that would be totaled by a parking lot ding. Extreme example of something I’d never claim, but you know what I mean. As a new homeowner I feel a little swamped by the billions of bills that really do add up...

Yep, welcome to life. It isn’t all roses unfortunately. Yeah it is pretty annoying and sometimes it just doesn’t feel worth it since you may have it and never have to use it. It’s piece of mind though.
